It has been confirmed by low cost African Fast Jet airline that they will have their first airbase in Tanzania.
The airline will start flying in November with seats offered on sale online a few weeks in advance. Fares will be starting from $20 one-way incorporating taxes and cost.
The rental fee for Fast Jet’s first Airbus A319 aircraft has been signed with lesson BBAM and will arrive in Dar es Salaam next month. Selection for team and ground staff is already well trained, according to an announcement released by the company.
Fast Jet Chief Executive said: “Our preliminary center of attention will be on East Africa with the airline’s first base at Tanzania Dar es Salaam; where the A319 aircraft has already been permitted by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority.
Right after that a second base in Nairobi, Kenya is planned; once the A319 is agreed there. While special fares have been offered for cheap flights; Fast Jet plan a great, consistent and reasonable service to the people of East Africa.
